Why fairy tales?

Official Author Photo Serena Chase 2015From the top our heads to the tips of our souls, there is an unquenchable need within us: the desire to be romanced into a grand adventure that will change our lives from the inside out.

I know that ache well. That’s why I wrote the Eyes of E’veria series: because I am, we are, with every breath, being chased into that grand adventure by Love.

Why do we fight it? The best thing we can do once we realize  Love is chasing us… is to allow ourselves to be caught.

I’m Serena Chase. I believe in the power of Story… and the power of Love.

Welcome.

  1. First of all, I loved your words about Why Fairy Tales and feel that what you said is so true for all good stories and I felt it was very eloquently put. That’s not what I am writing about, but wanted to mention it because I was really moved!

I just posted something on your edgyinspirationalromance.com website just a little bit ago and I hope it was not inappropriate for me to do so. I saw your contact information in the top right hand corner and thought I would reach out to you about it as I am new to posting comments. If the posting was not in proper blogging etiquette form, it would be good to know. Thank you and congratulations on your successes!

  2. I have been captured and held hostage by both of your books about the Ryn. I have failed in all my other duties while wrapped in the wonder and glory held in these tales. I have even forgotten to eat (wish it caused weight loss), and haven’t been able to tear myself away from the pages for any length of time. What a wondrous world you created, I am already feeling the loss of the people and places I found in there. I pray we will soon find more from you and them.

  3. Will you be putting the series out in paperback? I’d really like to get it but I don’t have a Kindle, and that PC app is such a pain I never use it anymore. I really hope you will do paperback because those books look seriously good, and I love fairytale retellings.

    1. Thanks for asking, Chris! Right now the books are Kindle-only, but I plan to re-evaluate next fall and see if paperback is something to pursue. I will keep you posted!

I was mesmerized with every page, every setting, every unique gift your characters possessed. What an amazing, fresh way to view our God and all He is and has done.
